Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the resort was a mix of positives and negatives. While the room I had was superb, offering a great view and good distance from the noisy areas, the resort lacked on-site amenities, requiring a walk or shuttle to access all services. The cleanliness was commendable, although I had an unusual encounter with a cute lizard one morning in the bathroom.
My stay at the resort was a mixed experience. The rooms had issues like a broken toilet and overall uncleanliness, which was quite disappointing. However, the service was exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff making our stay enjoyable. The location was nice, offering a clean and pleasant atmosphere, but the need to shuttle to the main amenities was a drawback. The dining was hit or miss, great during the week but lacking on weekends. The facilities overall did not live up to expectations.
The hotel provides a safe and very clean environment, although officially rated as 4 stars in Honduras, it feels more like a 3-star option. Despite initial issues that required complaints, the room was well-equipped with a safe and a full bathroom offering plenty of amenities.
I can't believe how bad the service was. Starting from the people-mover driver to the front desk personnel, our experience was disappointing. The New Year's party we had hired was a total disaster. The Palma Real staff, the chef, and manager were not attentive at all. The car hire, housekeeping, and other services were subpar, and we regret going for the paid shuttle service. Overall, a very disappointing service experience.
Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room could use some updates, although it was conveniently located near various amenities, but the noise from maintenance activities was a downside. The service was friendly but could improve in certain areas. The location offered easy access to different activities, and the dining experience was average. The facilities were decent, considering the value for money.
